North Texas Municipal Water District ratepayers use water every day — but do they know where it comes from? How it gets to them? EnviroMedia found a strong link between knowledge of one’s water source and a willingness to conserve. So, we developed a campaign to show the journey of North Texas water — from primary source to tap — to help customers comprehend and conserve. The campaign goal is to educate local residents on the value of water (through quantification and infrastructure), debunk the myths about indoor versus outdoor water use, and increase household conversations among families about their water conservation and natural water resources.
